- “Il Pane Nociato” ( typical bread): spicy bread produced in Autumn with cheese, parmesan, pepper, walnuts and raisins.
- “Il Brodetto” a fish soup: typical dish of Marche, one of the four classic recipes, along with the towns of Fano, Ancona and San Benedetto del Tronto. In Porto Recanati the fish soup is unique because of the “ zafferanella” ingredient
(wild saffron extract from a local plant). The soup was the food of the fishermen, a dish for the poor men, today "enriched" by white-meat fish, shellfish and crustaceans.
During the "Week of the Brodetto", in June, you can enjoy this traditional dish in many restaurants, at a very special price.
